On Catholics and Jews | Almighy God

By: Admin

I was scanning the news headlines at one of my favorite social media sites recently when I encountered some extremely offensive and meritless attacks against the Catholic religion.  The gist of the comments was essentially that Catholicism was somehow opposed to Jews and Judaism.

While naturally, the bollockses made no bother to back their claims with actual evidence.  Like most of the devil's minions, the just sewed the seeds of their vicious lies and went on their merry way.

Nonetheless, in light of the fact that there are a lot of well-meaning but unintelligent people in the world, I decided to set the record straight so as to prevent and of the sheeple who may happen to encounter the dialogue will be presented with the facts to contradict the baseless claims being made by the pawns of the devil.

The fact is that Catholics have long considered Jews to be "brothers and sisters" to the Catholic faith.  Jesus (the guy we worship) was a Jew.

The flamethrowers at the beginning of this thread offered no substantive backing to their baseless claims.  There is a reason for this, and it is because the claims are in fact baseless.

That is not to say the Catholic Church has a perfect history, but any organization that large that has been around long enough will at some point attract a rogue individual or two.  The Catholic Church hasn't had anyone that fits that description in a high-profile position in several centuries (well, maybe the Jesuits - but that's another conversation).

No other organization in the history of the world has done more to advance human rights and provide charitable services to the needy, regardless of race or religion.  Every Sunday, Catholics across the world pass around a basket for donations for the poor and indigent.  This money reaches some of the most poverty-stricken areas of the world --- everywhere from the United States to Latin America to Africa and East Asia.  Catholic volunteers travel to these places to build schools and provide medical and other services free of charge to the needy.

The Catholic Church has done far more to help solve the world's problems than any government or organization in the history of this planet, and the asinine remarks left by some at the beginning of this thread are completely antithetical to our doctrine and beliefs.

The Vatican has long considered communism to be an evil philosophy, and the Vatican was every bit as staunchly opposed to Hitler's plan for a one-world communist government as it is toward such an idea today.

Finally, as for my initial reaction towards the initial commenters, it is my belief that when slanderous attacks are levied against someone's religion, it's safe to say that it is personal at that point.  Given the fact that neither of the two imbeciles who commented originally bothered to provide one lick of evidence or even
logically structured arguments, I saw no need to to invest time into refuting the empty claims.

I am extremely suspicious of the motives of those who spread such false rumors, and providing an accurate description of the fools that were spewing the typographical diarrhea seen in the first two comments of this thread is a sufficient response, at least in my book.

That said, in order to believe such nonsense one must be both completely ignorant of history and devoid of common sense.
