Almighty God is a Fan of the New Orleans Saints

People of Earth: This is the Lord, your God writing this. It is I myself doing the writing, not some inspired human or paid professional writer here in Heaven.
There has been some controversy of late that stems from the New Orleans Saints being within one game of the Super Bowl, and I am writing this blog post to clear up any misconceptions that may exist about my preference among NFL football teams.
I am in fact a die-hard fan (and that's saying something coming from an immortal) of the New Orleans Saints. I could explain why, but it would be of little sense to do so, and just because I love the Saints more than the Indianapolis Colts or Minnesota Vikings (come on, like the Jets would have any realistic shot at beating the Saints), that does not mean I pick favorites and love some of my children more than others.
Football was a game created by the gods (me and my underlings... Notice the "G" is not capitalized when I am referring to other non-human entities mistaken by previous human civilizations as gods. Technically, they are not in fact Gods, but I use the term so as not to complicate the matter. You should get the gist of what I am saying.
That said, just because I am a Saints fan and will be looking down upon them on the Sabbath day when they take the field for a game in which a win sends them to the Super Bowl (Earth's highest honor and privilege), that does not mean I have any plans at this particular point in time to intervene should they fail to establish control of the game early.
I've been around a long time, so I'm able to handle the emotional stress associated with the Saints losing, and I certainly don't have it in for fans of other NFL teams.
One final point I'd like to make is that I know without a doubt that the devil is going to try to use these words against me and try to drum up hatred of me by other NFL fans by taking my words out of context and trying to spin this into "God hates everyone who's not a Saints fan".
I certainly hope my children who fancy other NFL teams are strong enough in their faith to dismiss his empty claims for the meritless propaganda that it really is. Please, whatever you do, forget not that Satan is an extremely seductive angel, and he can be quite charming and persuasive when he wants to be. Do not let his charm lead you down the path that leasts to Hell.
Yes, I am a Saints fan. Yes, I still love all of my children who favor other teams, including all the players not fortunate enough to have been signed by New Orleans.
